Your Tasks

Together with your colleagues, you will design the infrastructure for operating our products. This includes deploying the application, orchestrating the operating platform and seamlessly integrating the various tools and pipelines. You contribute your ideas to optimize our core technologies.

Your Profile

A degree in computer science, business informatics, or comparable vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist in System Integration) with several years of professional experience. At least 5 years of hands-on experience administering heterogeneous Linux environments (RHEL/AlmaLinux, Debian/Ubuntu) in an enterprise setting. In-depth knowledge in the following areas:

  • Virtualization and containerization (Proxmox VE, KVM/QEMU, LXC, Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes)
  • Configuration management (Puppet, Ansible, or similar)
  • Databases (MySQL/MariaDB – including replication, backup/recovery, and performance tuning)
  • Storage technologies (ZFS, Ceph, SAN/NAS concepts)
  • Network administration (iptables/nftables, VLAN/VXLAN, VPN/IPsec, load balancing with keepalived/HAProxy/Nginx)
  • Monitoring und Logging (Nagios/Icinga/Naemon, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK-Stack)
  • Scripting (Bash, Python, Perl)

Desirable Additional Skills: Experience working with hosting providers (Hetzner, OVH, or similar) and their specific network features (vSwitch, VLAN). Basic knowledge of IT security, hardening, and patch management (CVE assessment, mitigation strategies).
